Jamie and McKenzie had the pleasure of speaking with Brendan on WHCU’s All Things Equal radio show this morning. Listen, learn, share, and support biodiesel.
We sound good, right?
Although we’re big fans of Muse, this isn’t about the song. What we’re mostly referring to is Membership Month, of course! There are only a few days left to purchase your membership in the cooperative for a discounted rate. In April the prices will double, so there’s no time to waste.
While we’re on the topic of time running out, every now and then we do get the feeling that we’re working under some greater pressure to produce biodiesel again very quickly. What pressure, you ask? Well, climate change, competitors, big oil, hydraulic fracturing, our health, our future, our children…the list goes on and on.
The real question is why wouldn’t we want to provide our area with a local and sustainable fuel as soon as possible? If you think that you want to live in a beautiful place where the community owns its own future, then you have every reason to support us. If you don’t think that it matters where your fuel comes from, then you have even more reasons to support us because we need to teach you a lesson. Home is important and we’re not willing to risk it by giving it over to the richest, most powerful and least scrupulous companies in existence. There’s just too much at stake.
Let’s make biodiesel today for a cleaner tomorrow.
Now’s your chance to prove you care.
Thanks to everybody who joined us at our membership drive dinner on March 11. We had a lot of fun and were pleased to see that our message of biodiesel was well rece
ived. If you didn’t make it but would like to know what we talked about, please view this part of our presentation. We appreciate your patience as we continue to plan our next steps. We’re very excited to have some new members and potential customers and we can’t wait to begin serving this community with a local, renewable, sustainable fuel. The truth is that no matter how much we want to make biodiesel, we can’t do it without you. We’re gonna keep on truckin’ – will you join us?
